BILL BURTON
Bill is a 1983 graduate of the University of Alberta. After graduation he worked in a number of public and private settings in Edmonton until 1990 when he immigrated to Australia to study for his masters certificate in Perth, Australia. During this time he worked with a wide variety of patients ranging from world champion athletes to professional ballet dancers. Bill moved back to Canada and settled in Kelowna in 1994. He initially co-founded the very successful OSPRI clinic, which eventually became the Kelowna Lifemark franchise.
During this time he has also become a certified Orthopaedic instructor, a certified IMS practitioner and has continued to expand his clinical expertise with continuing education. His expertise is in detecting the source of the problem with a biomechanical assessment process, followed by a unique treatment regime. This has allowed him to resolve problems that have failed in previous therapies.
Bill received his graduate diploma of Manual and Manipulative Therapy in 1995. Over the years Bill has also worked, studied and taught in France, Africa, and most of the Australian states. Bill is married to Dawn, the clinic’s office manager, and they have three children. Bill stays active playing soccer, rugby, golf, hockey, cycling and downhill skiing.
